  • How do I get to Scheveningen, The Hague?

    Scheveningen, The Hague is easily accessible by public transport. Because of the good public transport accessibility and the limited parking spots in Scheveningen we recommend coming by public transport. Please check the Address & route page for more information about public transportation.

  • Where can I find all the information about my visit to Scheveningen, The Hague?

Logistics

  • What is the set-up of the boat parks?

    The set-up of the boat parks is made per class and per MNA. This is indicated with markings in all of the boat parks.

    • For windsurfers and kiteboards, an area of 5 metres by 2 metre.
    • For one person dinghies, an area of 3 metres by 4 metres.
    • For two person dinghies, an area of 7 metres by 4 metres.
    • For multihulls, an area of 5 metres by 10 metres
  • Is there a Sailors Lounge on site?

    There is a Sailors Lounge at all boat parks. At this place, coffee, tea, water and snacks are available. In addition, in the area of the boat parks, there are several beach clubs you can go to.

  • When are the boat parks open by vehicles?

    During bump-in and bump-out, the boat parks are only accessible with a motor vehicle (trailer) within the time slot assigned by the organisation. We aim to provide everyone with a time slot and additional information by mid-May.

  • Can I enter the boat park with a vehicle during the event?

    Unfortunately, during the event it is not possible to enter the boat park with your vehicle due to limited space. It is also not possible to park a vehicle nearby. More information on travel options can be found here.

  • Is accreditation required to enter the boat parks?

    Accreditations are required from Monday 7 August to Sunday 20 August.

  • Where can I leave my trailer?

    During the Allianz Sailing World Championships, all trailers will be parked at the Renbaan Duindigt site. This parking is a 20-minute drive from the event site. Please note, the trailer park will be closed during the event. It will not be possible to access your belongings in the trailer. Before departure, a schedule will be shared with everyone when you can pick up your stuff again.
