The innovative Sailing+ experience takes you on an immersive adventure into the world of sailing competitions. Whether you’re a sailor or not, this app offers a unique experience of sailing races through real-time tracking and wind information. You’ll gain access to pertinent data that provides insight not only for sailors but also newcomers into the competition and the various underlying strategies.
But it gets even better! During the Allianz World Sailing Championship from August 12th to 15th, you can enjoy live broadcasts of the races on the big screen at Festival by the Sea every day between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM via the Sailing+ experience. As the icing on the cake, Annemiek Bekkering, the tournament director, will guide you through the matches, offering you all the ins and outs of this sport.
With the Sailing+ experience, following sailing competitions during the Festival by the Sea becomes a breeze. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to discover the breathtaking world of sailing!
The App will be developed more after the World Championships, and the plan after that is to have the app available world wide in the App Stores. For now the only way of seeing and hearing this experience at Festival at Sea.
